The COVID-19 Crisis and Legal Quarantine Measures

The purpose of this academic article aims to examine both International and Thai quarantine measures that related to the COVID-19 epidemic crisis. There are several challenges and benefits for Thailand. In this regard, Thailand has laid out legal quarantine measures and other relevant control measures, such as countries or cities lockdown, social distance and isolation. This will result in the reducing number of infections and deaths in the end. Nonetheless, the spread of the COVID 19 virus is considered a disaster that threatens humanity around the world. At the moment, many people are going concerns, including the impact on the economy in many business sectors. In this circumstance, each country apart from public health measures, the Internal legal and international quarantine measures are other tools that are being used to control the spread of COVID-19.
Currently, it is also predicted that the spread of this virus will increase in the future due to travelling and the borderless exports and imports of goods. Thailand, therefore, must find a way to protect the safety of human life which is worth more than personal freedom. This article, therefore, provides relevant legal issues in the analysis of international and domestic quarantine measures. Also, considering remedy measures from the government among controversies because the government must immediately make decisions and assess all aspects that compete with limited time.
