A A SURVEY OF KNOWLEDGE OF LEADERSHIP IN LOCAL ADMINISTRATIVE ORGANIZATION

The objectives of this research were 1) to explore the knowledge of leadership in local government organizations and 2) to synthesize the knowledge of leadership in local government organizations in 3 aspects, namely theoretical concepts, research methodologies. and the study results, using a qualitative research model (Documentary Research). In this research, the researcher applied the ideas of Paterson, Thorne, Canam and Jillings (2001) as a framework for document synthesis. The sample used in this research consisted of 28 master's and doctoral studies. The results showed that 1) The body of knowledge on local leadership was found in 2010, with Khon Kaen University producing the most 6 projects on leadership, most of which were at the master's degree level. 2) Most of the theoretical concepts used in this research were based on leadership theories. and the concept of local government organizations. In terms of research methodology, quantitative research was used the most in 19 issues, accounting for 67.85%. The second place was research, mixed research, 5 issues, accounting for 17.85%, and qualitative research in 4 issues. was 14.28 percent. The results of the study can be classified into 5 aspects, namely 1) leadership styles, 2) leadership,
3) leadership qualities, 4) leadership potential, and 5) components of leadership.
