Publication Ethics

        The process of the editorial team of the Journal of Thai Justice System has prescribed the ethics of publication into 5 parts, namely Ethics of Editor, Ethics of Editorial, Ethics of experts reviewers Ethics of author, and Ethics in Humans and Animals research.

 

Ethics of Editor

        1. Editor must not disclose both author and reviewer’s information to others and must be responsible for data maintenance.

        2. Editor must consider articles with equity, without prejudice both to the article and the author such as agency, nationality, religion, gender, and culture.

        3. Editor must check articles in terms of plagiarism from other people's work. With the right and the responsibility of the editor, if the editor finds copying or misrepresentation or any forms of plagiarism, The editor can remove those articles without the author’s consent.

        4. Editor must not have conflicts of interest with author or reviewer, and must not bring the work or journals for commercial use or use as his own work.

        5. Editor must not write any article for publication in his own journal.

 

Editorial Ethics of the Journal of Thai Justice System

        The editorial team of the Journal of Thai Justice System should be responsible for the publishing as follows:

        1. The editorial team will develop management and improve the quality of justice journals.

        2. The editorial team must not disclose the author's information and the reviewer to other irrelevant people.

        3. The editorial team must not have conflicts of interest with the author of the article and article reviewer.

        4. The editorial team must not publish its own work significantly.

        5. If the editorial team finds any plagiarism (copying, paraphrasing), the editorial team can withdraw the article without the author's consent.

 

Ethics of expert reviewer

        Reviewers of Journal of Thai Justice System must always reconsider the quality of articles, in order to maintain academic quality as follows:

        1. Reviewer must not disclose information of  the submitted articles to other irrelevant people.

        2. Reviewer must be proficient in that field of study by considering the content of the article in depth knowledge without personal opinion that there is no supporting data to determine the article.

        3. When reviewer finds that the article is duplicated with other works, he should inform the editor immediately.

        4. Reviewer will not consider article that he have conflicts of interest such as the article that he is related both with the author or organization that will effect the article evaluation significantly.

 

Ethics of author

        Author must be responsible for his own article as follows:

        1. The author must certify that the article submitted to the Journal of Thai Justice System is not a translation a duplicated article, or a copyright infringement of article and has never been published in any other journal before. In case that it is the copyright infringement,it will be the sole responsibility of the author of the article.

        2. The author has only submitted the article for publication only to Journal of Thai Justice system.

        3. The author will submit the article according to the format specified by the Journal of Thai Justice system.

        4. The author will check the accuracy of the references, both in format and content and can not bring the unread academic article to be referred or put it in the bibliography.

 

Ethics of Human and animal research

        For the author who has the research article involving in human or animal participants, the author must attach a certificate of ethics from the Ethics Committee for research in humans or laboratory animals. Approval for publication depends on the editorial team consideration and it is considered final.
