Model of the justice community development system of the Ministry of Justice

Abstract

The research on “Model of the justice community development system of the Ministry of Justice” aimed to develop out Model of the justice community development system of the Ministry of Justice through a mixed method research – qualitative and quantitative research. In the qualitative research, the researcher had organized the in-depth interviews with experts and specialists in 5 branches which totally of 24 persons, namely as follow ; Policy Management for Community Justice, Community Justice officers, Provincial Community Justice Officers, Community Justice Experts, Criminal justice officers concerning to Community Justice and those involved in community Justice. In terms of quantitative research, a questionnaire had been prepared as a tool to collect data from population of 320 of nationwide Community Justice Committee. Findings from the quantitative and qualitative, the researcher had been synthesized in order to figure out Model of the justice community development system of the Ministry of Justice The researcher had put it in a model, called “LEADERSHIP MODEL” which comprised the following: Leader referred to community leaders must be accessible to people who could be a leader in formulating their Community policies ; Equity referred to establishment of  fairness and equality in the work of the Community Justice Center; Approach referred to the assessment to information for the operational benefits of the  Community Justice Center; Development referred to the development of knowledge and skills in organization information database; Empowerment referred to empower the community to  run for justice; Restoration referred to local reconciliation; Stability referred to building a sustainable security based on the friendship tocreate a network that covers all areas. High Responsibility referred to encourage the peoplein the area to be responsible and focus on the community justice; Integration referred to the Integration, resolving problems in justice by collaborating with government organizations in the area and People referred to make the community as a major part of the Community Justice Work.
