การสรุปผลการศึกษาทบทวนและเตรียมความพร้อมเพื่อการสำรวจข้อมูลสถิติอาชญากรรมภาคประชาชน ปี พ.ศ.2557

Abstract

Project the study, review and prepare to Crime Victimization Survey aim to review the past research of the Office of Justice Affairs Department as follows : 1) A survey of crime. In Bangkok, 2006 2) Crime Survey in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, 2007 3) Crime Victimization Survey, 2012 (the crime occurred between October 2010 - September 2011) By National Statistical Office.

Justice Information Center Office of Justice Affairs require to develop methods of survey to be more quality thus has encouraged ABAC Poll Assumption University conduct project "The study, review and prepare to Crime Victimzation Survey 2014" for the purpose : 1) Review questtionnaire in the Crime Victimization Survey in recent times, 2) Analysis survey methods and sampling to be effective to reflect real cirme statistics, and 3) Improving the content of the survey questionnaires for next time, be able to access those more esily and make the data more efficiently. The project was carried out during April 2013 - May 2014.

Scope of the study are : 1) To analyze the problem / cause of limitation in the study of the past that have the effect of making the information was not consistent with the actual crime situation. By studying data from documents and research survey ever undertaken. Study from police agencies in the area working on organized crime statistics data. Includeing the opinion of an expert / persons with relevant experience. With Qualitative Methodology. 2) To develop measurement tools or questionnaire. By Bringing the problem in the last times to amend and  update for next time. A study from experts or who have experience relevant to the survey of the past. Study in the group of people, who look like with the target, By focus group meeting and in-depth interview.3) PResent the survey method. And sampling technical. In accordance with the Social Science Research 4) Conducted pilot research study to test the questionaire by survey in the target population, and 5) seminar to present the findings and recommendations to improve the study.

After developing measurement tools and the survey methodology, The researchers tested a pilot study to Crime Victimization Survey in target population aged 15 years and over in Bangkok and four regional province is Chiang Mai, Khon Kaen, Chon Buri and Songkhla from a sample of 1,536 household, household members, 6,363 people.

They survey result found that in the year 2013 a sample of 6.90 percent had been victims of crimes, such was Mayhem, Crimes Against Property, Sexual assault and Cheap Trick or falsely used the information / documents private. In the number of people who had been victims of crime, there were only 19.0 percent, to notify the police
