When submitting to Maritime Technology and Research (MTR), the authors agree as follow,
COPYRIGHT
1. (a) Subject to the conditions hereinafter expressed, the authors hereby grant to the Faculty of International Maritime Studies, Kasetsart University during the legal term of the copyright, the sole and exclusive right of publication of the article in the manner and form as the MTR deems fit.
(b) The authors shall reserve their rights to any invention revealed in the article worthy of patent protection.
(c) The authors shall reserve their rights to use part or whole of the article in any dissertation, related research, operations for either profit- or non-profit distributions, as long as the MTR is acknowledged.
(d) The authors shall reserve their rights to make copies for the whole or part of the article for the purpose of teaching and lectures, seminar, presenations, and other business-related operations.
(e) The Faculty of International Maritime Studies, Kasetsart University shall reserve the rights to use any context of the article for academic purpose.
2. The Faculty of International Maritime Studies, Kasetsart University may assign its interest in the copyright of the article hereby granted by the authors to any person, company or firm as it deems fit, suitable and appropriate to publish the article (hereinafter referred to as the “Publisher”).
AUTHORSSHIP
3. The Faculty of International Maritime Studies, Kasetsart University shall ensure the article is published in the name of the authors.
WARRANTIES
4. The authors warrant to The Faculty of International Maritime Studies, Kasetsart University that the article is an original work and that it is in no way whatever a violation of any existing copyright and that it contains nothing obscene, indecent or libellous or blasphemous and will indemnify The Faculty of International Maritime Studies, Kasetsart University against any loss injury or damage including any legal costs or expenses properly incurred occasioned to or incurred by The Faculty of International Maritime Studies, Kasetsart University in consequence to any breach of this warranty.
5. So long as this Agreement is subsisting and operative, the authors shall not make any assignment of the right to print and publish the article or grant any interest in the copyright of the article by way of license to print and publish the article or any part thereof or any abridgement or expansion thereof to any other party without the consent in writing of The Faculty of International Maritime Studies, Kasetsart University.
EFFECTIVE DATE
6. All the conditions and warranties in this agreement shall bind all conduct of the parties effectively from the acceptance date.
OTHER LEGAL MATTERS
7. Any notice or request in writing required to be served under this agreement on The Faculty of International Maritime Studies, Kasetsart University shall be sufficiently served if it is sent by hand or ordinary post to The Faculty of International Maritime Studies, Kasetsart University at its registered office and any such notice or request in writing shall be sufficiently served on the authors if it is sent by hand or ordinary post to him/her at their address abovementioned or to such other address as may be notified from time to time by the authors to The Faculty of International Maritime Studies, Kasetsart University.
8. This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Thailand in every particular including formation and interpretation and is, or otherwise shall be deemed to have been made.
