Abstract

This article aimed to develop the conceptual framework for research on the impact of resource- based view determinants on hospital performance. The results of this study demonstrated the important issues that should be tested as follows, 1) Resource- based view determinants (human capital, high performance work system and organizational culture) are likely to influence the hospital performance. 2) Organizational culture may be a variable that influences the relationship between high performance work system and hospital performance and 3) High performance work system may be correlated with hospital performance by the mediated of organizational citizenship behavior and human capital. These proposals were used to develop a conceptual framework that was a guideline for studying the impact of the resource-based view determinants on the hospital performance in the future.
