Antecedent of the Success of the Anti-Drug Scout Projects in the Schools

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to study the influences of factors affecting the success of the Anti-Drug Scout Projects in the schools. This research employed a quantitative method. The sample in the quantitative research part consisted of 480 scout supervisors working in schools providing grades 7-9 programs. They were selected via stratified sampling. The sample size was determined based on the criterion of 20 times the observed variables. Data were collected with the use of a questionnaire and analyzed with a structural equation model. Research findings showed that leadership of the school administrators, school policies, network cooperation, supervisors’ skills, budget, instrument, and management had  influence  of the success of the Anti-Drug Scout Projects in the schools
