Prevention behaviors of Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) of restaurant operators in Surat Thani Province

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to study 1) Prevention behaviors of Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) of restaurant operators in Surat Thani Province 2) the factors related to behavior character of restaurant operators and recognition factors affecting the prevention behavior of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) of restaurant operators in Surat Thani Province. The samples of this study were 400 restaurant operators in Surat Thani Province. The instrument that used to collect data was online questionnaire. Statistics used in data analysis include frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and chi-square statistic. The level of significance was set at 0.05.The hypothesis testing indicated that 1) Characteristics of restaurant operators, such as types of restaurants the size of the restaurant Restaurant opening experience, number of employees, monthly sales 2) Recognitions factors: perception of information about coronavirus disease 2019, perception of risk exposure for coronavirus 2019, perception of severity of coronavirus disease 2019, perception of benefit from compliance with preventive measures Recognizing obstacles to implementing preventive measures It is related to the prevention behavior of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) of restaurant operators in Surat Thani Province.
