Administration Development of Leave Your Home with the Police Project

Abstract

This Research article study aims to 1) analyze the management of the Vacation Home Watch Program, 2) examine the problems and obstacles in managing the program, and 3) propose guidelines for improving the management of the program. The research adopts a qualitative approach, data collection which are documentary research and in-depth interviews from 3 groups 15 purposively selected informants. The data were analyzed in accordance with the research objectives. Analyze and present the results descriptively. The findings reveal that 1) the program is managed through a relatively complex structure, involving centralized decision-making and policy direction from senior leadership, and faces a number of administrative challenges; 2) several key problems obstruct effective service delivery, including frequent changes in leadership, a lack of integrated use of technology in operations, limited manpower, and communication constraints that delay reporting to both supervisors and the public. These issues prevent the program from achieving its full potential in serving both the organization and the public; and 3) the Royal Thai Police should ensure continuity in managing the program, even when leadership changes occur, by incorporating it into formal operational plans. Greater participation from communities and the public should be encouraged at all stages, along with the integration of modern technology and the development of user-friendly applications to align with current needs.
