Abstract

This research and development aimed to study the collaborative learning on web-based instruction  using critical thinking process model, to develop the collaborative learning lessons on web-based instruction by using critical thinking process, to study effectiveness of the collaborative learning lessons  students with different learning styles, and to evaluate the critical thinking of students with different learning styles with collaborative learning lessons on web-based instruction using critical thinking process. Research populations were 760 students who enrolled in sciences and modern technology subject in the second semester of the academic year 2015. The sample consisted of 60 students who were selected by stratified random sampling technique. The samples were divided into 4 groups of 15 students each. Research results were as follows:  The collaborative learning on web-based instruction using critical thinking process model consisted of input, process, output and feedback. An assessment of the learning pattern revealed that it was highly appropriate for the students. As far as the quality of the lessons was concerned, it was at high level. Additionally the efficiency met the criterion of 83.22/82.92.  Moreover, students’ scholastic achievement was significantly higher than before the instruction at .05 level. Furthermore the efficiency index was at 0.63, and the students’ satisfaction were at the highest level. Finally, the result of students’ critical thinking skill for 4 types of learning styles was not significantly different.
