Abstract

Literature exposes an important role in enabling readers to enjoy the melodic elegance of the language, as well as a role in recording an interdisciplinary knowledge such as moral purposes, communication, historical record and prediction etc. Prophetic literature in different regions of Thailand are similar. The prophecy world concern with individuals or society as a whole, in terms of concepts, predictions, or events, including the possibility of being in the foreground. The evidence can be seen from the literature that Thai literature has appeared in various regions of the country, i.e. northeast, north, south  and central. The prophetic literature of Thailand is considered to be a creative work of the founders who have integrated various factors. It reflects the feelings and beliefs of human beings in society, similar to literature and forecasts of other countries, such as Khmer literature, Vietnamese literature. It is evident that literature in different regions of Thailand and other nations not only function as entertainment but also recording knowledge in an interdisciplinary manner and may have other functions as well.
