Abstract

The research aimed to study effectiveness of newspaper management to compete with the internet in Thailand and to propose measures for effective management of newspaper. It was a mixed method approach. The qualitative approach collected data by means of in-depth interviews of 8 key informants. The quantitative research, on the other hand, used questionnaire to collected data from 400 people. The researcher has developed a model titled “The Effectiveness Model of Newspaper Management” comprising: Development & Innovation in Services; Business Competition; Role and Duty; Social Credibility; Consumer Behavior; and Economic & Political Credibility.
