Abstract

          The objectives of this research were to study image quality with the application of automotive film in photography and to compare between automotive films and camera filters in the application in photography. The experimental design consisted of three steps, namely 1) application of automotive films in photography; 2) photography in fieldwork; and 3) image evaluation by five photographic experts.

          The study revealed that image quality of automotive films in photography was high, particularly Executive Series APL 50NSRPS, Executive Series ARL 35NSRPS, Genius Series ARL 05CSRPS, and POP Series POP05CSRPS. Meanwhile, image quality of the other automotive films were moderate. The comparison between automotive films and camera filters in the application in the photography demonstrated that four series of automotive films, namely, Executive Series APL 50NSRPS, Executive Series ARL 35NSRPS,  Genius Series ARL 05CSRPS, and POP Series POP05CSRPS could be good substitutes for filter ND. The other automotive films, on the other hand, were moderate.

บทคัดย่อ

          การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาคุณภาพของภาพถ่ายที่เกิดจากการใช้ฟิล์มติดรถยนต์ และเพื่อเปรียบเทียบคุณภาพและลักษณะเฉพาะของภาพถ่ายที่เกิดจากการใช้ฟิล์มติดรถยนต์กับการใช้ฟิลเตอร์ ND โดยกำหนดวิธีดำเนินการวิจัยแบ่งออกเป็น 3 ระยะ กล่าวคือระยะที่ 1 การประยุกต์ใช้ฟิล์มติดรถยนต์แทนฟิลเตอร์ ระยะที่ 2 การลงมือถ่ายภาพนอกสถานที่จริง และระยะที่ 3 การประเมินภาพถ่ายโดยผู้เชี่ยวชาญทางด้านการถ่ายภาพจำนวนทั้งหมด 5 คน

          ผลการศึกษาวิจัยสรุปผลที่สำคัญได้ดังนี้ คุณภาพของภาพถ่ายด้วยฟิล์มติดรถยนต์ที่ทำให้ได้คุณภาพภาพถ่ายออกมาได้ในระดับดีมากมี 4 รุ่น ได้แก่ Executive Series  รุ่น APL 50NSRPS, Executive Series รุ่น ARL 35NSRPS, Genius Series รุ่น ARL 05CSRPS, และ POP Series รุ่น POP05CSRPS ส่วนรุ่นอื่น ๆ มีคุณภาพอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง เมื่อเปรียบเทียบภาพถ่ายด้วยฟิล์มติดรถยนต์ทดแทนฟิลเตอร์ ND มี 4 รุ่นที่เหมาะแก่การนำไปใช้ทดแทน ได้แก่ Executive Series  รุ่น APL 50NSRPS, Executive Series รุ่น ARL 35NSRPS, Genius Series รุ่น ARL 05CSRPS, และ POP Series รุ่น POP05CSRPS ส่วนรุ่นอื่น ๆ มีคุณภาพจากการเปรียบเทียบภาพถ่ายด้วยฟิล์มติดรถยนต์ทดแทนฟิลเตอร์ ND อยู่ในระดับปานกลาง
