Knowledge management model under personnel quality policy of medical personnel

PURPOSES: To study the state of knowledge management, personnel quality policy, the relationship between the personnel quality policy and knowledge management and guidelines for developing a knowledge management model of the personnel in the Airforce Medical Department. METHODS: A sample survey of 170 medical personnel in Air Force Medical Department, together with in-depth interviews of 15 key informants on issues related to guidelines for developing a knowledge management model under the quality people policy of medical personnel. RESULTS: Knowledge management at the Airforce Medical Department was unorganized. Personnel quality policy was related positively to knowledge management significantly at p < 0.05. THEORETICAL/POLICY IMPLICATION: Better knowledge management could be achieved by strengthening personnel quality policy.
