The Effect of Learning Management using KWL Plus Techniques with Think Pair Share Activity for Enhancing Analytical Reading Skills and Reading Comprehension for Making Conclusion

Abstract
This research purposed 1) to study efficiency of the process and product of learning management This research purposed 1) to study efficiency of the process and product of learning management by using KWL Plus techniques along with Think Pair Share activity for enhancing analytical reading skills and reading comprehension for making conclusion according to criteria 75/75, 2) to compare between analytical reading skills and reading comprehension for making conclusion before and after learning management by KWL Plus technique using Think Pair Share activity and 3) to explore students’ opinion toward learning management by KWL Plus techniques with Think Pair Share activity. The samplings in this study included 41 freshmen students at Suan Dusit University, Trang campus, in the second semester of academic year 2016. They were selected by a purposive sampling method. Statistics used for data analysis were mean scores, standard deviation, percentage, and one sample t-test. The results of this study showed that 1) learning management using KWL Plus techniques along with Think Pair Share activity for enhancing analytical reading skills and reading comprehension for making conclusion was effective at 78.59 of the process and 79.43 of product higher than the criteria. 2) Analytical reading skills and reading comprehension for making conclusion were higher than before learning management which was statistically significant level at .001 and 3) students’ opinions toward learning management by KWL Plus techniques with Think Pair Share activity was totally at ( = 4.35, S.D. = .45) average level.
