Promotion of Life Quality According to Sufficiency Economy Philosophy of People in Pasang Sub-District Administrative Organization, Wiang Chiang Roong District, Chiangrai Province

Abstract

Objectives of this research were 1) to study promotion of  life  quality according to sufficiency economy philosophy of people in Pasang sub-district administrative organization, Wiang Chiang Roong district of Chiangrai province, 2) to study opinions of people towards promotion of life quality according to sufficiency economy philosophy of people in Pasang sub-district administrative organization, Wiang Chiang Roong district of Chiangrai province, and 3) To study problems, obstacles and suggestions in promotion of life quality according to sufficiency economy philosophy of people in Pasang sub-district administrative organization, Wiang Chiang Roong district of Chiangrai province. This research methodology was the mixed method, which has whole confidence values of 0.951. The quantitive research, used the questionnaires as research instrument collected the data. The samples group of 382 the people lived in the area of Pasang sub-district administrative organization, Wiang Chiang Roong district, Chiangrai province. The data were analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean standard deviation, t-test, F-test and one-way ANOVA coefficient analysis. The qualitative research, used the in-depth interviews with 12 key informants and analyzed using data by descriptive content analysis.

           Findings of this research were as follows:

1. The promotion of life quality according to sufficiency economy philosophy of people in Pasang sub-district administrative organization, Wiang Chiang Roong district of Chiangrai province, in sufficiency economy philosophy by overall was at medium level (= 3.35). Each aspect was studied, it was found that all aspects were at high and medium level chronologically orders as follows: morality condition aspect was at high level with the mean value at (= 3.42) reasonability aspect was at  (= 3.40) moderation aspect was at  (= 3.37) self-immunization aspect was at  (= 3.33) and knowledge condition aspect was at
   (= 3.24) respectively. For promotion of life quality by overall was at medium level ( = 3.32), when ensidened in each aspect, it was found that all aspects were at medium level chronologically orders as follows: public health aspect was at high level with the mean value at  (= 3.36) locality aspect was at  (= 3.32) family aspect was at  (= 3.31) and occupation aspect was at  (= 3.30) respectively.
2. The comparison of opinions of the people towards promotion of life quality according to sufficiency economy philosophy in Pasang sub-district administrative organization, Wiang Chiang Roong district of Chiangrai province classified by personal factors, it was found that the people with different gender, age, education and income did not have different opinions on people towards promotion of life quality according to sufficiency economy philosophy. Therefore, the research hypothesis was rejected.
3. Problems and Obstacles to promote quality of life according to sufficiency economy. Pasang sub-district administrative organization, Wiang Chiang Roong district of Chiangrai province is 1) People who live in the area, mainly to the lack of knowledge on the issue of sufficiency economy, 2) the employment is dwindling in the area including agricultural products do not work as they should because of lack of water resources, 3) The Sub-district Administrative Organization (SAO) still lack  of knowledge and understanding in promoting the quality of life according to sufficiency economy. The suggestions to improve the quality of life according to sufficiency economy in Pasang sub-district administrative organization, Wiang Chiang Roong district of Chiangrai province are 1) to provide the Sub-district Administrative Organization (SAO) to participate in the community and help boost the economy  more, 2) should be encouraged in a community that is consistent with the sufficiency economy more, 3) The Sub-district Administrative Organization (SAO) should cooperate  with Sub-District Health Promoting Hospitals to help for providing advice on matters related to health care and environment
