Abstract

Today, innovation has become an important part of the government's adaptation to prepare for changes that occur in the world under globalization. Therefore, the Thai government may not be able to use the public sector management methods as before and need to find a new government management method to prepare for changes and problems that may arise that causing public sector innovation.(Public Innovation) Which is one way to help Thai government to adapt the changes and progress to the world and also helps the government to have an effective mechanism that can compete with other countries in the world. The government innovation consists of Service Innovation, Service Delivery Innovation, Administrative or Organizational Innovation, Conceptual Innovation, Policy Innovation and Systemic Innovation: collectively referred Bureaucracy 4.0  which is the concept of changing new government management process. The creation of Thai government sector innovation need to be driven by cooperation from all relevant sectors, whether they are executives, civil servants or government personnel which is an important mechanism as a service provider, as well as people as service recipients. However, innovation in the public sector still faces problems with the bureaucratic system that is not flexible,not agility adhered to the regulations, causing delays and not responding to the needs of the people. The issue is also a challenge that government organizations in the Thai context must focus on developing and solving problems. To drive innovation in the public sector to be effective in the future.
