CREATING OPPORTUNITIES AND SOCIAL EQUALITY OF THE ELDERLY OF KHAOSAMYOD MUNICIPALITY MUEANGLOPBURI DISTRICT LOPBURI PROVINCE

Abstract

Education, opportunity building and social equality of the elderly of Khao Sam Yot Municipality Mueang Lopburi District Lopburi Province  purpose for 1). To study the creation of opportunities and social equality of the elderly of Khao Sam Yot Municipality Mueang Lopburi District Lopburi Province and 2). To study the effects of creating opportunities and social equality of the elderly of Khao Sam Yot Municipality Mueang Lopburi District Lopburi Province this is qualitative research by using documentary research and  in-depth interview with 4 groups of key informants:  (1) group of executives and workers in the Department of older persons ministry of  social development and human security (MD.) 3 persons. (2) Local government organization 3 persons. (3) Qualified person academic and expert in solving problems of the elderly, 3 persons  and (4) People 60 years of age and over living in Khao Sam Yot Municipality Mueang Lopburi District Lopburi Province:  8 persons, total 17 persons. The results of the research are as follows: 1.Creating opportunity according to the government policy under the condition of establishing the rehabilitation fund necessary for health at the provincial level in accordance with the government's policy. The activities that were held included listening to dharma, basic health examination providing health education educating other matters that the elderly should know seasonal recreational activities bone screening, dance, and karaoke singing as well as every year there will be a performance exchange forum to promote the quality of life of the elderly in each club  2. The impact of creating opportunities and social equality of the elderly the project should be run by encouraging the elderly to participate. In order to know the problem of trouble and need to encourage cooperation from the elderly and able to provide appropriate services and timely care and the additional impact is the creation of opportunities and equality that must improve the quality of life and promote the elderly careers. The body of knowledge from the research is used as a guideline for the development of activities appropriate for karma management for the elderly as needed.
