The Role as an Advisor for Student’s Science Project Preparation

Abstract

Science projects are scientific activities which construct students' knowledge from problems found around them according to their aptitudes and interests by using a systematic and scientific process. Students are able to work both individually and as a group providing advice and completing improvements from an advisor. The advisor plays an essential role and also supports and assists in various fields in order to bring student’s science projects for a competition held at school, regional, national, and international levels. After receiving an award from the competition, it brings pride to the students, their families, the teachers, the school, and the nation. This academic paper is aimed to present the role of the advisor in supervising and preparing students in the preparation and the development of the project to participate in a competition forum at indifferent levels. Moreover, this paper provides guidelines for being a science project advisor to support and assist the students' science projects to get the best achievement.
