Abstract

This research on ‘The Participation in Prevention, Risk Mitigation and Resolving Drug-related Youth Problems of the State, Society and Community in Municipal Communities in the Lower Northern Region’ has the objectives to study the participation in prevention, risk mitigation and resolving drug-related youth problems of the state, society and community in municipal communities in the lower northern region. The researcher chose a qualitative research method to conduct the research by using an in-depth interview model and purposive sampling. The research instruments were the design of an interview form and focus group discussion. The sample were the groups of youth, government officials and the public sector. The findings were divided into four areas: 1. A framework for resolving drug-related youth problems of the state, society and community. 2. Youth and the circumstances of receiving coverage, assistance and therapy based on the concept of prevention, risk mitigation and resolving drug-related youth problems. 3. The roles of educational institutions in prevention, risk mitigation and resolving drug-related youth problems 4. A cooperative model of the participation in prevention, risk mitigation and resolving drug-related youth problems of the state, society and community. Suggestions in the research: 1. This research can be applied beneficially as a basic information for resolving and participation in drug-related youth problems in the lower northern region. 2. There should be a building of knowledge and understanding for youth regarding prevention and risk mitigation of access to drug cycles. 3. The findings should be presented as a policy recommendation for resolving drug-related youth problems, which is considered major problems of the country.
