Abstract

The aims of this study were to investigate: 1) levels of organizational culture, organizational climate, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment of bank officers; and 2) causal factors of organizational culture, organizational climate, job satisfaction influencing organizational commitment of in a State enterprise bank officers in Samut Sakhon Branch. Samples in the study were 83 State Enterprise bank officers in Samut Sakhon branch and the research instrument used in the study was a questionnaire. Statistics used in this study included percentage, means, standard deviation (S.D.), and structural equation modelling (SEM) analyses. Research findings revealed that: State Enterprise bank officers in Samut Sakhon branch overall had the highest level of organizational culture, organizational climate, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment aspects. Additionally, organizational culture and organizational climate both had directly influenced on job satisfaction and organizational commitment of bank officers and had indirectly influenced on the organizational commitment as well. Furthermore, job satisfaction had a direct effect on organizational commitment of bank officers.
