Tourism Development for Participation Learning in Organic Farm at 12 Sub-community of Ban Klong Jan Sa Kaeo Province

Abstract

The objective of this research is to develop tourism management for participation learning of organic farm at 12 Sub-community of Ban Klong Jan, Sa Kaeo province 1) To study the management of organic farming groups with participation 2) To study the need of the development of tourism management for learning organic farm with participation 3) To develop the tourism management for learning organic farming with participation. This research was research and development (R&D) using mixed method including qualitative, quantitative and operation methods. The 30 samples were selected by purposive sampling as key informants from chairman, community leader, representative of organic farming group members, representative of organic product processing entrepreneurs and representative of Sa Kaeo Municipality. Data were collected by interviewing, questionnaires, meeting issues with participation and operation record form then were analyzed by content analysis and statistics of percentage, mean and standard deviation. The results of the research found that 1) the results of the study of the management of the organic farming group revealed that the organic farming group has set up a 6 executive committee to work together for planning, controlling and monitoring the performance of the group by divided the group structure by function. It consists of the president, vice president, treasurer, secretary and coordinator. 2) The results of analysis of the need of the development of tourism management for learning organic farm found that there have a need to manage tourism of learning organic farm in overall was a high level with a mean is 4.15 and a standard deviation is 0.32 3) The development of tourism management for learning organic farm with participation through created 5 organic farming learning bases, including, the Berk Nam banana base, the gac slow-aging base, the lime longevity base, the insect repellent flower base and the organic farming learning base with the owner of the garden as a lecturer. Moreover, there provide a walking path around the garden in a rectangle distance of 1,000 meters, including a knowledge sheet for tourists learning. At last, there are the signs which indicated the learning base and directions.
