A study of learning behavior and student satisfaction towards teaching and learning management during the Covid-19 virus outbreak

Abstract

The objectives of this survey research are to study the student learning behavior during the epidemic of COVID-19 and to study the satisfaction of learners with teaching and learning management during COVID-19 periods. A populations was 389 students of Boromarajonani College of Nursing, SuratThani 2020.The sample group was 194 nursing students at Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Surat Thani 2020. By simple sampling (Sample Random Sampling) and lottery or using a random number table (Random Number Table) data were collected using questionnaires. The research instruments were the student learning behavior and the student satisfaction questionnaire towards the teaching and learning management. During the Covid-19 virus outbreak, data was analyzed using Percentage frequency distribution Mean and standard deviation

The result of the research indicated that

  1. The overall learning behavior of the learners in all 10 areas during the covid-19 epidemic was high value of 3.51 (SD = 0.67)
  2. Students were satisfied with the overall of all three aspects of instructional management during the Covid-19 epidemic at a high value of  3.87 (SD = 0.81)
