Guidelines for Management of Art and Cultures attractions in Sawankhalok District, Sukhothai Province

Abstract

The objectives of this research study are as follows: 1) To study the level of people’s participation in management of the arts and culture attractions. 2) To study the guidelines to promote the tourism management in Sawankhalok district of Sukhothai province. The population and sample group that used in this research are the people who live in Sawankhalok district of Sukhothai province. The researcher teams have collected the data from the total of 400 people and a sample group that obtained from the interview with a specific randomized method of 14 people.

The results of the research were as follows: 1. The level of the participation in management of the arts and culture attractions in Sawankhalok district of Sukhothai province. It was found that the overall results were at the high level. In addition, when considering the aspect of the highest average. It was the public relations. Next, was tourism, facilities, services, participation, and motivation, respectively. 2. The guidelines to promote the tourism management that were obtained from the interviews of all (14 sub-districts) of the executives of local government organizations in Sawankhalok district of Sukhothai province. It was found that the distinctive identity that attracted tourists to come to Sawankhalok district is the arts and culture attractions in all areas that have the history, the traces of beautiful architecture, and they still left over until the present. This is very suitable for studying and succession. However, a good way for creating the participation is encouraging the people in all areas to have the sense of the hometown in the heart, conservation, inheritance, and public relations of Sawankhalok district to be known for being a city of arts and culture. That leads to build a strong economy foundation of the community
