Abstract

Political communication is a political process that gives rise to the interaction between members of the political society is important to the political system. It is a widespread activity. Both creating a network of interests coordination of interests, rule creation, application of rules and rule modification. Including the communication of political policy also known as populism policy of various political parties are all carried out by means of communication as a tool together. For the political communication strategy of populism policy, the strategy adopted today focuses on all forms of communication carried out by politicians and political stakeholders. Which can send information to politicians directly and meet the needs of the people. It is a systematic nature of the dissemination of political news to members of politics, and at the same time it is the process of bringing the demands and needs of the people to the government. That will make government policy formulation and decisions more consistent and better respond to the needs of the people
