Abstract

The objectives of this research were: 1) to study the opinions of the monks; 2) to compare the opinions of the monks classified by personal factors; 3) to study the problems. Obstacles and recommendations for the conservation of Buddhist temples in Maharat District Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. Research methodology is a combination of methods. during quantitative research It was a survey with a questionnaire which had a confidence value of 0.903 in the whole sample 155 persons with the sample group was monks in Maharat district. and qualitative research by in-depth interviews with 8 key informants or persons. The results showed that: 1. The monks had a high level of overall opinion. (=3.86, S.D.=0.920). 2. The results of the research hypothesis test found that monks of different ages and have different levels of moral education There are different opinions overall. Therefore, the research hypothesis was accepted. monks of different ages There are no different opinions in general. therefore reject the research hypothesis 3. problems and obstacles found 1)The problem is that most of the  problems are in the care of the Department of Arts, there is no budget, the budget must be budgeted, the government agencies have an unclear relationship, whichever is the era of the state leadership. Some eras are good. 2) The protection of protection is  the lack of experts to advise, lack of academic cognition in conservation, 3) the lack of coordination from the responsible agencies. When in the power of the Department of Arts, the temple cannot perform its work.  4) The use is that the use of the premises is not worth it. People in the community themselves do not play a role or participate in determining their own Buddhist conservation practices.
