Factors Affecting the components of Tourism Adventure Attraction in Nakhon Nayok Province

Abstract

The purposes of the research were 1) To study the behavior of Thai tourists who visited Adventure Tourism in Nakhon Nayok Province 2) To study the components
of Tourist adventure attraction Nakhon Nayok Province (6 A's). The research was a quantitative survey and questionnaires were used to collect data. The sample were 400 Thai tourists who traveled to Nakhon Nayok Province for adventurous activities. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics: frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation. The hypothesis was tested using inferential statistics, namely T-test and one-way ANOVA or F-test. In the case of statistical significance (p ≤≤ 0.5), a pairwise comparison test was applied using Scheffe’s method. The largest demographic groups among the sample were single males, aging 30 years old and below, taking a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and a company employee, having an income of 20,000 bath or less. 

       The results found that 1) In case of tourists’ behavior who traveled to Nakhon Nayok Province for adventurous activities with their friends. There are less than 3 people on each trip. They traveled on weekends.  The frequency of traveling is 2 to 3 times per year and used 1-2 days per time. Most of the travel expenses were less than to 3,000 baths.
44.75 % of them, The purpose of the trip is for fun and entertainment, 33.75 % of them go at Tourism of Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy, 32.75 % for white water rafting and kayaking. 2) In terms of Adventure tourism in Nakhon Nayok Province. Attraction, Overall, the tourist attraction has a beautiful environment, Unique, The transportation route to the tourist attractions is convenient. Tourist Facilities had provided sufficient service such as electricity, water supply. In Tourist Attraction management, there are an infrastructure for tourist services such as electricity, drinking water, water supply, hospital, police stations, banks, ATMs, gas stations and post offices. Accommodation in Tourist Attractions is located in the vicinity of tourist attractions. And Tourism activities, the attraction offers a variety of adventure activities.
