Abstract

This study aimed to 1) develop unique hand-woven fabric product patterns and 2) to analyze the capital and profit of hand-woven fabric products from Ban Dong I Doi, Phaet Sub-district, Kham Ta Kla District, Sakon Nakhon Province. The population consisted of a group of Ban Dong I Doi hand-woven fabrics entrepreneurs and stakeholders for 100 people, and    in-depth interview for 15 people. The data were collected by structured interview from 85 people. This research was a mixed method of quantitative and qualitative research. The study has shown that the development        of hand-woven patterns conserves traditional local wisdom with             the combination of geometry patterns, which contributed to the unique style of the group of Ban Dong I Doi, Kham Ta Kla District, Sakon Nakhon Province. The satisfaction survey showed that government officials and employees were satisfied with Dong I Doi pattern and Dok Yang Na pattern with the same rate of 3.63. The satisfactory rate of the texture of the fabrics was at 2.77 In terms of colors and patterns shared the satisfactory rate       of 3.58, and the overall satisfaction of Dong I Doi pattern and Dok Yang Na pattern was at 3.60. As for the analysis of capital and profit of hand-woven fabric per piece (1 piece equals 2 meters), raw material cost was 187.50 baht, labor cost per piece was 280 baht, production cost per piece was 15 baht, so total cost per piece was 472.50 baht. Ban Dong I Doi group had to sell 1 piece of fabric for 600 baht to meet the break-even point.
