Abstract

The purposes of this research were to study and to compare the needs for self development of the personnel: the head of the office of each faculty, agencies under the Nakhon Phanom University. The study consists of physical, emotional, social and intellectual aspects classified by gender, educational background and work experience. The samples were 18 personnel. The instrument was questionnaires. The data were statistically analyzed by percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test and F-test and if differences were found, the differences in pair were later analyzed by Scheffe’s Method. The results were as follows: The head of the office of each faculty, agencies under the Nakhon Phanom University. Rated their needs for self development in overall and each aspect at a high level. There were no significant differences in the needs of self development between male and female staffs in overall and each aspect. There were no significant differences in the needs of self development between the staffs with difference educational background in overall and each aspect. There were no significant differences in the needs of self development between the staffs with difference work experience in overall and each aspect statistically significant at the 0.05 level.
