Political Way and Development for the Local of Banharn Silpa-Arch

This academic paper aims to study the political concept of politicians based on political role theory as the leader of a political party who plays a role in formulating the party's policies to solve problems and meet the needs of the people, and based on Dogan's political dynasty concept to describe success in building politician’s identity and stepping into the local politician to a national politician. This also includes the creation of a political family group that completely monopolized the political power of Suphanburi Province of Banharn Silpa-Archa, the 21st Prime Minister of Thailand, who had been dubbed "Deng Xiao Ping of Thailand" or "Dragon Suphan". The results of this study show that Banharn Silpa-Archa's political role as the leader of the Chart Thai Party had collected and established rural politicians to join the party. Generally, when politician joins a political party, he/she will receive political reconciliation according to the theory of reconciliation. According to the jungle siege strategy, the Chart Thai Party gradually continued to grow. Even when Banharn Silpa-Archa was able to step up to the position of Prime Minister, but also emphasized on maintaining the political power base in Suphanburi province through policies, projects, and development plans by spending budget on tangible and visible development for prosperity in Suphan Buri Province. After the political term was over, he had been still an influential person in thinking and supporting the the Silpa-Archa family member to become professional politicians until forming a political family in Suphanburi Province. Currently Suphanburi Province is also considered his name as "Banharn Buri". Which is birth of “Provincialism”
