Electronic Book (E-book) Development on Tray of Food for Ninth Grade Students

This study aimed to 1) develop an electronic book (E-book) of a home economics course on tray of food for ninth grade students by the criterion at 80/80, 2) compare learning achievement between pre- and post-test of a home economics course on tray of food for ninth grade students using electronic book (E-book), and 3) investigate satisfaction of ninth grade students towards learning a home economics course on tray of food by utilizing electronic book (E-book). In semester 1 of the academic year 2021, 372 ninth grade students from 10 classrooms at Sawiwittaya School participated as the population and sample for this study. Selected by sample random sampling, which consisted of a class of 40 students. The research instruments were 1) an electronic book (E-book) 2) lesson plans by using an electronic book (E-book) 3) a form of achievement test for ninth grade students with reliability values at 0.701 and the data was examined using mean, percentage, standard deviation, developmental testing, t-test including 4) satisfaction questionnaire of students towards electronic book (E-book). The results were as follows 1) the electronic book (E-book) on tray of food for ninth grade students indicated the efficiency of 80.94/82.33, which achieved the defined criteria of 80/80. 2) the learning achievement towards tray of food for ninth grade students that used electronic book (E-book) indicated their post-test was higher than pre-test which were different statistically significant at .05 level. 3) the satisfaction of ninth grade students towards using electronic book (E-book) to learn about tray of food was in the highest level.
