Development of Sustainable Prototype of the Welfare Card Project in Thai Society

The objectives of this study are 1) to study the result of process of the welfare card project 2) to study the factors associated with the sustainability of the welfare card project and 3) to develop the sustainable model of the welfare card project. This research is mixed-methodology research such as documentary research and quantitative research using survey research methods. The research samples are 400 people in 2 distircs and 9 sub-districts and analyze the data using the frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation and the qualitative research and action research using 20 people for in-depth interview. It is the process of developing the sustainable model of the welfare card project in Thai society. The results of the research were found that 1. The process of the welfare card project finding that respondents' opinions on the process of the welfare card project had the average of 4.15 which was high level and considering each aspect was found that it was very high items. 2. The factors associated with the sustainability of the welfare card project were finding that respondents’ opinions on the factors associated with the sustainability of the welfare card project had the average of 4.14 which as high level and considering each aspect was found that family aspect, social aspect and economical aspect was very high aspects. 3. Analyzing the development of the sustainable model of the welfare card project in Thai society finding that welfare card developing the poor’s life with supporting money by transferring through welfare card. The process of welfare card project helping the people by four ways are creating and supporting of employment, career training, education, accessing the funding system and easy accessing to the basic necessities for developing quality of life. It was integrations to resolve the poverty and reduce social and economic inequality between the poor and the rich. However, the government should solve the problems of social inequality systematically and developing the local economy, society, psychology and environmental management. It was called sustainable development.
