Abstract

This is a qualitative research which the objective is to study processes on sustainable management of community-based tourism, OTOP inno-life of Ban Koh-Kerd Community, Bang Pa-in District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. The key informants were 10 persons consisted of community leaders, related entrepreneurs, people in community and related state officers. Research instruments were semi-structured interview and observation form. The data were collected by using in-depth interview and non-participant observation. The verbatim and the content analysis were employed for analyzing and concluding the data. The research results were presented in a descriptive method. The research found that processes on the management of community-based tourism were divided into 3 phases which were 1) before tourists arrive the community 2) during tourists were in the community and 3) after tourists left the community. All phases focused on maintaining the community’s way of life while allowed tourists to learn in a safe, friendly and comfortable manner. Success factors of tourism management in the community were consisted of 4 main factors as; 1) committee, 2) provisions, 3) activities and 4) participation of external agencies.
