Abstract

The objectives of the study were to 1) Study the problems and obstacles of  waste management of the 21st Signal Battalion, 1st Army Area. 2) Study on waste management of 21st Signal Battalion, 1st Army Area.  3) Provide recommendations on waste management of 21st Signal Battalion, 1st Army Area. The 1st Army Area is qualitative research. The sample group consisted of 16 people. The research instruments consisted of : document-based study and semi-structured interviews, check for accuracy of information. The researcher used a triangulation data validation. The results showed that 1) problems and obstacles in waste management of The Suesan Ruam jai Samakkhi community that is caused by the lack of consciousness of people in the community and lack of continuity in public relations and knowledge on waste management from the waste-free community project of the 21st Signal Battalion, 1st Army Area. 2) people in the community of Suesan Ruam jai Samakkhi have a good understanding of wastemanagement principles according to the 5Rs principle. Only some people still confuse Reuse and Recycle. 3) people in the community of Suesan Ruam jai Samakkhi requiring that there is a regular publicity of news and knowledge and increase the number of waste-free community project staff. The people in the community can participate in implementing the policy of the waste-free community project by giving opinions to improve the community's waste management system. Comment on the determination of the project plan to solve the community's waste problem, etc.
