Abstract

This article aims to present a Selected issues concerning the sub - district headman and village headman is an institution that governs and administers the "local" administration, which has been born and developed continuously since the reign of King Rama V and until the present. still said The village headman is an institution that has both roles and duties in the administrative districts called sub-districts and villages. The concept of legal and public administration is collectively referred to as “local governance”, as can be seen that the name is the name of the organization of government and is a system of government administration in Thailand. which has the Local Administrative Act B.E. 2457 as a model law is to have laid the foundation for the characteristics of such local governance It is considered an important structure of Thai territorial administration.
