Abstract

The purpose of this research was 1. to study the social, artistic and cultural context in Nakhon Ratchasima Province. by using the data studied to analyze the connection of ideas emotion sign meaning and unraveling the form of images, ideas into shadows giving rise to a new set of knowledge in design, creating aesthetic works and communicating meaning. 2. o synthesize information to create works and develop techniques for designing shadow arts under the concept of Sima Shadow space: Shadow art in the dimension of reflection of meaning under the social and cultural context of Nakhon Ratchasima Province By disseminating the audience to become aware of the meaning of the work by using the appearance of shadows to convey the overlap of the meaning of things that are in the state of reality and concepts. with applied research methods by using questionnaires as data collection to data analysis using mean and standard deviation from a sample group of visitors. The results that researcher 4 sets of creative works,namely the first work “Center Space” the second work “Spirit Space” the third work “Korat Culture Space”and the fourth work “Future Space” All works are published and exhibited by using process techniques to create interaction with the work as part of producing meaning for the audience to be aware of the meaning of the work by means of communication. An art style that focuses on concepts combined with techniques for creating works of art installations. in to inclusion of creative that communicates meaning to audience  of the meaning of the work according to the objectives.
