Abstract

Business operation nowadays are complexity and diversity of technology’s changing, economic policies in the country and the world, consumer behavior’s constantly changing and unexpected situation such as: situation of the COVID-19 pandemic. Organizational adaptability will lead to the success of the organization. Organizational leader can be considered as an important factor in leading the organization to overcome any problems and crises that may arise. Good organizational leader won’t lead the organization with the old management style that manages the organization from the top to down but new organizational leader have to have leadership is modern and adapt to the situation, able to connect employees to realize the organization goal and lead the organization to reach that goal. This article is a documentary study from conceptual studies, theory and research work to see the characteristics of new organizational leader with transformational leadership that can lead the organization to success in the current situation.
