The Relationship Between Psychological Trait Factors and Social Environment Factors with Financial Discipline Behavior of Students, Buriram Rajabhat University

This study aimed to 1) study the opinions on psychological trait factors, social environment factors and students' financial discipline behavior; 2) compare the students' financial discipline behavior with different personal characteristics; 3) study the relationship between psychological trait factors and social environment factors with the students' financial discipline behavior. This quantitative research used a questionnaire. The data were collected from 386 students of Buriram Rajabhat University, obtained by cluster sampling and analyzed by frequency distribution, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, F-test (One-way ANOVA) and Pearson correlation coefficient. The results indicated as follows: 1) The students' psychological trait factors and social environment factors were at a relatively high level, and their behavior in financial discipline was at a relatively low level. 2) The Students with income from extra work and taking note of different income-expenses had different financial discipline behaviors at the 0.05 significance level. 3) Psychological trait factors and social environment factors were positively correlated with financial discipline behaviors at the 0.01 significance level.
