Abstract

Packaging design and development for Khao leuang Patew Chumpon, aims to point out the factors that could be applied in order to initiate an appealing outlook of the product to the customers, as well as to promote the status of the product into a wider market. It will also display a paradigm for other domestic products currently sold in the community to apply value-adding approach based on the package designing. The data collected from the survey will be classified into two main groups. The first group is the Customers (working people whose age is from 20 to 55 years old) with a scope of 100 samples to be surveyed. The second group is the Experts, which consists of 3 particular suggestions from the experts who are regarded as having keen understanding on how a package should be designed. By completing the survey, the result has shown the nutritional facts and the story of the product to be the two main components that should be focused on to make the product more interesting as a whole.
