ย้อนคิดอัตภาวะและการส่งเงินกลับบ้านของผู้หญิงอีสานในบริบทการแต่งงานข้ามชาติ

บทคัดย่อ
บทความนี้ทบทวนงานศึกษาเกี่ยวกับอัตภาวะและความหมายของ “การส่งเงินกลับบ้าน” ของผู้หญิงอีสานที่แต่งงานกับชายชาวตะวันตกในบริบทข้ามชาติที่มีความซับซ้อน โดยอาศัยกรอบแนวคิดทางมานุษยวิทยาและสตรีนิยม เพื่อทำความเข้าใจว่าการส่งเงินกลับบ้านมิได้เป็นเพียงปรากฏการณ์ทางเศรษฐกิจ หากแต่เป็นการปฏิบัติทางสังคมและวัฒนธรรมที่สะท้อนความสัมพันธ์ อารมณ์ และอำนาจต่อรองของผู้หญิงอีสานในชีวิตข้ามพรมแดน งานศึกษานี้เสนอว่าแนวคิดเรื่อง “ลูกสาวที่กตัญญู” ซึ่งมักถูกใช้ในการอธิบายผู้หญิงอีสานที่ส่งเงินกลับบ้านนั้น เป็นเพียงมิติหนึ่งของอัตภาวะที่ถูกสร้างขึ้นภายใต้โครงสร้างศีลธรรมและวาทกรรมทางสังคม ในความเป็นจริง ผู้หญิงแต่ละคนมีวิธีการนิยามและปฏิบัติต่อ “การส่งเงินกลับบ้าน” ที่หลากหลาย ทั้งในฐานะการรักษาความผูกพันทางครอบครัว การสร้างอำนาจต่อรองในชีวิตคู่ และการยืนยันอัตลักษณ์ทางวัฒนธรรมของตน บทความนี้จึงชี้ให้เห็นว่า การทำความเข้าใจอัตภาวะของผู้หญิงอีสานในบริบทการแต่งงานข้ามชาติ จำเป็นต้องมองข้ามภาพเหมารวมและพิจารณาปฏิสัมพันธ์ระหว่างเศรษฐกิจ วัฒนธรรม และอารมณ์ที่ดำรงอยู่ในกระบวนการส่งเงินกลับบ้านอย่างลึกซึ้ง
