การเมืองสีเขียว: การปะทะกันระหว่างการเมืองกระแสหลักกับการเคลื่อนไหวแบบใหม่

บทคัดย่อ

บทความนี้ต้องการพิจารณาการเมืองสีเขียว (Green Politics) ในฐานะการเมืองทางเลือก (Alternative Politics) ที่มุ่งไปที่ประเด็นสิ่งแวดล้อม การเมืองสีเขียวมีพัฒนาการมาจากการปะทะกันระหว่างประชาชนรากหญ้ากับโครงสร้างการเมืองกระแสหลักระดับชาติ ผ่านการเคลื่อนไหวทางสังคมและการเมืองแบบใหม่ตั้งแต่ทศวรรษที่ 1960 เป็นต้นมา ความขัดแย้งดังกล่าวชี้ให้เห็นว่าวิกฤตการณ์สิ่งแวดล้อมกลายเป็นภัยคุกคามรูปแบบใหม่ (Non-traditional Threats) ที่ระบบการเมืองแบบเดิม ๆ ไม่สามารถจัดการได้ เช่น การเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ (Climate Change) และโรคระบาดโควิด-19 (Pandemic) บทความนี้เริ่มต้นด้วยการการพิจารณาแนวคิดเคลื่อนไหวทางสังคมแบบใหม่และการเมืองสีเขียวที่ล้วนแล้วแต่เป็นมิตรต่อสิ่งแวดล้อมในด้านเศรษฐกิจ สังคม ความมั่นคง การพัฒนาระหว่างประเทศและความยั่งยืน จากนั้นจะวิเคราะห์และเปรียบเทียบเส้นทางการเมืองของพรรคกรีน (Green Parties) ที่แสวงหาอำนาจทางการเมืองในประเทศออสเตรเลีย เยอรมนี อังกฤษ และสหรัฐอเมริกา
