อำนาจเหนือร่างกาย: การปกครองเพศวิถีและการเจริญพันธุ์ของผู้หญิงในไทยและเวียดนาม

บทคัดย่อ
ในประวัติศาสตร์เพศวิถี ผู้หญิงถูกกำกับควบคุมด้วยอุดมการณ์รัฐปิตาธิปไตยและศีลธรรมทางสังคมที่พยายามสร้างวินัยให้เป็นร่างกายใต้บงการผ่านเทคนิคของอำนาจ ในประเทศไทยการสร้างวินัยเนื้อตัวร่างกายของผู้หญิงถูกกำกับด้วยนโยบายประชากรของรัฐให้มีการสนับสนุนการเกิด ให้ผู้หญิงตอบสนองต่อบรรทัดฐานของความเป็นกุลสตรีในสังคมศีลธรรมแบบพุทธและไม่สนับสนุนการยุติตั้งครรภ์ เทคโนโลยีการแพทย์ของไทยเป็นไปในทิศทางเดียวกันคือการมีเทคโนโลยีเพื่อสนับสนุนการเกิด ในขณะที่เวียดนามเนื้อตัวร่างกายของผู้หญิงถูกควบคุมผ่านการวางแผนครอบครัวและประชากรด้วยการจำกัดการเกิด เนื้อตัวร่างกายของผู้หญิงจึงทำให้กลายเป็นความเชื่องเชื่อด้วยบรรทัดฐานทางสังคมแบบขงจื๊อคือการเป็นหญิงที่ดี พร้อมด้วยเทคโนโลยีทางแพทย์แบบจำกัดการเกิด แม้ว่าจะมีความแตกต่างกันทางบริบทสังคมและอุดมการณ์ปิตาธิปไตย ผู้หญิงในสองบริบทยังคงต้องแบกรับภาระของการสร้างชาติผ่านการกำกับควบคุมเรื่องเพศภายในรัฐ ดังนั้น บทความนี้จึงพยายามเปิดเผยให้เห็นและเปรียบเทียบโครงสร้างอำนาจการกำกับคุมเพศวิถีของผู้หญิงทั้งในไทยและเวียดนามผ่านการสร้างวินัยให้ร่างกายผู้หญิงอยู่ใต้บงการ โดยอธิบายผ่านกรอบคิดอำนาจชีวญาณที่ทำให้ร่างกายอยู่ใต้บงการของ Michel Foucault ซึ่งเป็นเทคนิคของอำนาจในรัฐสมัยใหม่ที่กำกับควบคุมและแทรกซึมปัจเจกชนในระดับชีวิตประจำวัน
