บทคัดย่อ
การศึกษานี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อทำความเข้าใจ “ความเป็นบ้าน” (homeness) ผ่านกรอบแนวคิดของปิแอร์ บูร์ดิเยอ (Pierre Bourdieu) ที่ว่า “บ้าน” มิใช่เป็นเพียงที่อยู่อาศัยทางกายภาพ หากเป็นพื้นที่ที่มีนัยยะทางสังคม และวัฒนธรรมที่ซับซ้อน สัมพันธ์กับอัตลักษณ์ และวิถีชีวิตของผู้อยู่อาศัย คำถามหลัก คือเราเข้าใจ “ความเป็นบ้าน” ได้อย่างไรในฐานะพื้นที่ที่ผลิตซ้ำภายใต้เงื่อนไขโครงสร้างทางสังคม โดยการวิเคราะห์งานเขียนของบูร์ดิเยอ และนักคิดที่นำแนวคิดไปต่อยอด นำมาใช้เพื่ออธิบาย “บ้าน” ในฐานะพื้นที่ปฏิบัติการของฮาบิทัส (habitus) และ ทุน (capital) ที่ขับเคลื่อนอย่างมีพลวัต ผลการศึกษาชี้ว่า “ความเป็นบ้าน” เป็นสิ่งที่ถูกผลิตขึ้นผ่านปฏิบัติการเชิงสัญลักษณ์ โดยฮาบิทัสทำหน้าที่กำหนดว่าบ้านจะกลายเป็นพื้นที่ที่สอดคล้องกับตัวตน บ้านเป็นพื้นที่แสดงออกของทุนทางวัฒนธรรมกับทุนทางสังคม ผ่านการตกแต่ง และรสนิยมที่สะท้อนความแตกต่างทางชนชั้น การอยู่อาศัยจึงมิใช่เพียงประสบการณ์ส่วนตัว แต่เป็นการประกอบสร้างที่เชื่อมโยงกับอำนาจ การผลิตซ้ำโครงสร้างและความหมายทางสังคม ทั้งระดับจุลภาค และมหภาค รวมถึงบทความเปิดพื้นที่ให้เห็นข้อวิพากษ์และข้อเสนอที่สะท้อนพลวัตของการนำแนวคิดมาใช้ เช่น การตั้งคำถามกับการลดทอนมิติด้านอารมณ์และความทรงจำ การต่อรองเชิงอัตลักษณ์ในบริบทการย้ายถิ่น และสังคมร่วมสมัย
