ฝ่าวิกฤตสู่โอกาส: ผู้ผลิตทุเรียนไทยกับการปรับตัวในยุคเปลี่ยนผ่าน

บทคัดย่อ
ไทยเป็นประเทศที่ผลิตและส่งออกทุเรียนเป็นอันดับหนึ่งของโลก และสร้างรายได้ให้กับเกษตรกรและผู้ประกอบการคิดเป็นมูลค่ากว่าแสนล้านบาท อย่างไรก็ตาม ความต้องการผลผลิตของผู้บริโภคที่เพิ่มสูงขึ้นทำให้การแข่งขันในตลาดทุเรียนดุเดือด ประกอบกับความแปรปรวนของภูมิอากาศทำให้กระบวนการผลิตยากลำบากมากขึ้น การศึกษาครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์สถานการณ์ปัญหาและความท้าทายของการผลิตทุเรียนในประเทศไทย และเสนอแนวทางการปรับตัวของเกษตรกรและผู้ประกอบการ/ล้ง โดยใช้วิธีการวิจัยเชิงปริมาณ และใช้สถิติเชิงพรรณนาในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล เก็บข้อมูลจากกลุ่มตัวอย่างเกษตรกร 580 ราย และเจ้าหน้าที่ภาครัฐ 52 ราย ผ่านการตอบแบบสอบถาม จากผลการศึกษาปัญหาและความท้าทายในการผลิตทุเรียนของเกษตรกรในภาพรวม พบว่า อันดับ 1 ได้แก่ ต้นทุนการผลิตที่เพิ่มสูงขึ้น (x̄ = 2.86 ระดับปานกลาง) อันดับ 2 โรคและแมลงศัตรูพืชใหม่ ๆ (x̄ = 2.64 ระดับปานกลาง) และอันดับ 3 ภัยแล้งและขาดแคลนน้ำในการเพาะปลูก (x̄ = 2.41 ระดับน้อย) สำหรับผู้ประกอบการหรือล้ง พบว่า อันดับ 1 การผูกขาดตลาดของจีน (x̄ = 3.12 ระดับปานกลาง) อันดับ 2 การสวมสิทธิ์ใบรับรองมาตรฐาน GMP (x̄ = 2.88 ระดับปานกลาง) และอันดับ 3 การสวมสิทธิ์ทุเรียนจากต่างประเทศ (x̄ = 2.79 ระดับปานกลาง) ผลการสังเคราะห์แนวทางการปรับตัวของเกษตรกร พบว่า เกษตรกรต้องเน้นการลดต้นทุน ด้วยการใช้ปุ๋ยชีวภาพ การตรวจสอบและเฝ้าระวังโรคโดยการใช้แอปพลิเคชันและโดรนเพื่อตรวจสอบการแพร่ระบาดของโรค การพัฒนาระบบชลประทาน และระบบน้ำหยดเพื่อแก้ไขปัญหาภัยแล้งและขาดแคลนน้ำ สำหรับผู้ประกอบการ ต้องขยายตลาดส่งออก และพัฒนาระบบขายปลีกเพื่อลดการพึ่งพาตลาดจีนเพียงแหล่งเดียว การนำระบบตรวจสอบย้อนกลับ (traceability system) มาใช้เพื่อแก้ไขปัญหาการสวมสิทธิ์ใบรับรองมาตรฐาน GMP นอกจากนี้ ผู้ประกอบการต้องนำเทคโนโลยีที่ทันสมัยมาใช้ตรวจสอบแหล่งที่มาของทุเรียน สำหรับข้อเสนอแนะ เกษตรกรควรเพิ่มพูนความรู้ ทักษะทางการเกษตรและการใช้เทคโนโลยีดิจิทัล ขณะที่ผู้ประกอบการทุเรียนจำเป็นต้องเร่งปรับตัวให้ทันต่อการแข่งขันและมาตรฐานการค้าที่เข้มงวดในตลาดส่งออก
