ชีวิตติดแกลม: ความฟุ่มเฟือยที่ไม่อาจห้ามใจ และการเรียนรู้เพื่อก้าวข้ามการเสพติดการช็อปปิง ในมุมมองสหวิทยาการสังคมศาสตร์และประสาทวิทยาศาสตร์

บทคัดย่อ
บทความนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อนำเสนอปรากฏการณ์ “ติดแกลม” การใช้จ่ายฟุ่มเฟือยอย่างไม่อาจห้ามใจ และการเสพติดการบริโภคหรือการเสพติดการช็อปปิง ด้วยมุมมองแบบสหวิทยาการ เพื่อทำความเข้าใจปรากฏการณ์อย่างรอบด้านผ่านองค์ความรู้ด้านสังคมศาสตร์และประสาทวิทยาศาสตร์ และชี้ให้เห็นแนวทางการจัดการแบบผสมผสานในรูปแบบของประสาทวิทยาศาสตร์เชิงสังคม จากการศึกษาแนวคิดทฤษฎีและการทบทวนวรรณกรรมพบว่า การใช้จ่ายฟุ่มเฟือยมีรากฐานมาจากการเปรียบเทียบทางสังคม โดยมีปัจจัยเร่งคือการแบ่งชนชั้นและความเหลื่อมล้ำทางสังคม การเปรียบเทียบทางสังคมนำมาสู่การตัดสินใจที่จะตอบสนอง ซึ่งต้องอาศัยการทำงานของสมองหลากหลายส่วนร่วมกัน อย่างไรก็ตาม แต่ละบุคคลอาจตัดสินใจแตกต่างกันได้ ขึ้นอยู่กับความกดดันทางอารมณ์ การให้คุณค่าต่อภาพลักษณ์ของตัวบุคคล และสภาวะภายในที่เอื้อต่อการตัดสินใจอย่างเป็นเหตุผล ซึ่งมีสมองด้านการบริหารจัดการเป็นตัวควบคุมที่สำคัญ นอกจากนี้ การจัดการด้วยมุมมองแบบสหวิทยาการ ซึ่งดำเนินการทั้งในระดับนโยบายที่มุ่งลดความเหลื่อมล้ำทางสังคมผ่านการเรียนรู้และการศึกษาเชิงวิพากษ์ และการจัดการระดับบุคคลผ่านการเรียนรู้ที่จะแสดงความขอบคุณ การประวิงเวลาในการตอบสนอง และการฝึกสติ อาจช่วยให้สังคมสามารถก้าวข้ามการเสพติดการบริโภคได้ในระยะยาว พร้อมกับช่วยดูแลบุคคลได้ในช่วงระยะสั้น
