Abstract

     Different consideration of the social reality; ontology, results in an epistemological status of wisdom in social science. The author argues what is the position of social science in the range of science and humanity. Then, the article describes the three categories of knowledge; empiricism, realism, and interpretism in the term of sources of knowledge, knowledge evaluation, progression of knowledge and its limitation. The last section is carefully investigated the social reality and ontology status of social science in social phenomenon to analyze the epistemological status in social science.
