Publication Frequency

KKBS JOURNAL of Business Administration and Accountancy is a quarterly-annual journal. It publishes three volumes annually issued as follows:

        (From the Vol. 10 No. 1 onwards, the Journal will be accepted and published in English Language within 5 articles per number)

        First volume: January – April

        Second volume: May-August

        Third volume: September – December

Aim

“KKBS Journal of Business Administration and Accountancy is a double-blinded, peer-reviewed, and open-access journal form faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy. It is indexed in Thai-Journal Citation Index (TCI-Tier1) published by the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, Khon Kaen University.

The journal offers both national and international forums for high-quality research and innovative research papers that highlight the applications of both theoretical and empirical approaches. The journal welcomes research manuscripts that demonstrate full reports of research projects, including rationale, theoretical background, methodology, collected data, findings, and discussion. Review manuscripts are also welcome; they provide a comprehensive summary or review of a certain topic and offer a perspective on the current state. Our mission is to contribute to existing research and new knowledge in the research community and literature within the context of the study.

All manuscripts must be consistent with the Journal’s manuscript preparation requirements.

 Types of Manuscripts           

Before you submit your manuscript, it’s important you read and follow the manuscript guidelines. Both research manuscripts and review manuscripts are only accepted in English for consideration in the journal process. All manuscripts must demonstrate good quality and readability. Additionally, the author(s) can provide a proofreading certification in the submission system, effective 1 June 2025. 

Review policy

The Journal is a double-blinded, peer-reviewed journal published by the editorial board and external readers at three peer review.

บทความที่ได้รับการตีพิมพ์ในวารสารบริหารธุรกิจและการบัญชี มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น จะต้องผ่านการพิจารณากลั่นกรองโดยผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ (Peer Review) ที่มีความรู้ความสามารถในสาขาที่บทความนั้นเกี่ยวข้อง ร่วมกันกลั่นกรองอย่างน้อยจำนวน 3 ท่าน ต่อบทความ ซึ่งเป็นผู้เชี่ยวชาญจากต่างสถาบัน ในลักษณะผู้พิจารณาไม่ทราบชื่อผู้แต่งและผู้แต่งไม่ทราบชื่อผู้พิจารณา (Double-Blind Peer Review) เพื่อให้สอดคล้องกับ “ประกาศ ก.พ.อ. เรื่องหลักเกณฑ์และวิธีการพิจารณาแต่งตั้งบุคคลให้ดำรงตำแหน่งผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ รองศาสตราจารย์ และศาสตราจารย์ พ.ศ. 2564” ลงวันที่ 27 ธันวาคม 2564

 

Review Process

Manuscripts must be submitted to the editor online at ที่  https://so04.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/kkbsjournal. Manuscripts must not have been previously published. The following is the review process:

  1. The editorial team first screened the manuscript to determine whether it was within the journal’s scope and purpose. However, if the manuscript does not pass the initial consideration, the editor will inform the author of the refusal to consider the manuscript.
  2. The manuscript will be screened by the editorial team to check for the format as required by the journal. The manuscript that does not meet the journal’s requirement will be returned to the author for revision before the peer review process is undertaken
  3. If the manuscript passes the initial consideration, the editorial team will notify the author to pay the submission fee for further consideration. (See details in the topic “Rate of Journal Fees”).
  4. After the author has paid the submission fee, the manuscript will be sent to a peer review.
  5. When the reviewers have completed the reviews, the editorial team will send the comments to another. If there are corrections, the author will be notified to make corrections according to the recommendations of the experts and the editorial team (if any) within the period specified by the editorial team. If the manuscript does not pass the review, the editor will inform the author of the refusal to accept the article along with the results of the evaluation.
  6. The manuscript has been completely edited. The editorial team will check the correctness and suitability of the article title, abstract, and references. Including formatting the article as specified again. And, the acceptance letter is sent to the author(s).

Publication Fees

The Journal of Business Administration and Accounting, the Faculty of Business Administration and Accounting, Khon Kaen University will charge a fee for the publication of an article. After passing the journal’s initial review for the format, scope, and suitability of the article according to the journal's quality criteria by the journal's editorial team, the author is required to pay a 3,000 baht fee via QR-Code provided. Please note that there will be no refunds for articles that are not accepted for publication. This policy will take effect on January 1, 2022, as detailed in the Announcement of Khon Kaen University (No. 2161/2021)
