Abstract

The objectives of this research were to study the level of
working motivations of police in Metropolitan Police Devision 4 and to
determine factors affected their the working motivations Metropolitan
Police Devision 4.
The samples composed of 321 police in Metropolitan Police
Devision 4. The data were collected by using questionnaires and
analyzed by using the packaging computer program. Statistical tools
employed in data analysis and presented through percentage, mean,
standard deviation, t-test and One-Way ANOVA.The level of significance
for statistical testing was 0.05.
The research findings was as follow. The level of working
motivations of police in Metropolitan Police Devision 4 was high.
According to the hypothesis testing, level of education, rank, income
per month and time performance caused difference in the working
motivations. However, age did not cause any difference in the working
motivations. The level of significance for statistical testing was 0.05.
