Abstract

This article intended to debate the role of globalization which
brought about political, economic, and social changes in all countries
including Thailand. The article also pointed out the importance of the
principles of Good Governance in globalized world, and looked into
the application of the principles for public management, in particular,
the public service for the benefit of the people in various aspects, that
is, rule of law, effectiveness and efficiency, transparency, and
accountability. This article studied the electronic passport servicing of
Thailand undertaken by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a case study.
